Background of GHACOE Women’s Ministry
HISTORY:
GHACOE Women’s Ministry (GHACOE) was established in 1977 in response to a call for a more consistent walk and total obedience to Christ. It was also evident that the social and economic needs of women in a developing nation such as ours became a burden on the hearts of the leadership of GHACOE Women’s Ministry. We identified that Ghanaian women needed to be:
-
- Enlightened and trained to strengthen spiritual growth
- Supported to become economically independent
- Empowered to enable them to overcome the inherited cultural inferiority complex
Over the past 36 years, GHACOE Women’s Ministry, as an organization, has worked tirelessly in missions to promote the well-being and capacity development of women in Ghana and in other parts of Africa.
MISSION:
GHACOE Women’s Ministry exists to evangelize, disciple and empower women to achieve the fullness in Christ.
VISION:
To see an empowered Christian woman making a difference in the home and the community.
CORE VALUES:
Love God & love others, Integrity, commitment to excellence and to be teachable.
GOAL
