GHACOE Women’s Ministry has over the years worked and collaborated with various donors and organisations to implement our programmes. We have worked with the following:
a) World Vision International (WVI),
World Vision International (WVI), which funded some of its programmes and also provides technical support in the area of counselling, education and training for our programme beneficiaries.
b) The UNDP, Capacity Development Utilization Programme (CDUP) Secretariat
The UNDP, Capacity Development Utilization Programme (CDUP) Secretariat which helped in the capacity development of the Micro and Small-scale Enterprises (MSE) operatives in Tourism, Construction and Non-Traditional-Export (NTE) sub sectors of the Ghanaian economy. The Programme’s relationship with GHACOE was on the level of collaborating in capacity development and utilization of women entrepreneurs in NTE. The Programme which provided funding for training of women in skills, equipment and other logistics and also offered technical advice on certain aspects of the training, especially in entrepreneurship from January 1996 and ended in 1998.
Empretec
CDUP programme with UNDP, Empretec supported GHACOE’s programme by administering small loans to trainees and ensured the efficient utilization of these funds
d) German Development Service (DED)
German Development Service (DED) offered financial support for the training of GHACOE members and other target groups.
e) National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI)
National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI) has been providing technical support for training programmes.
f) Tearfund, UK
Tearfund, UK supported its HIV/AIDs programme, dubbed “Healthy Life Campaign” targeted at rural and urban poor communities. 2001-2010
